Monaco Yacht Show, the House of Fine Yachting !

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is the show for super yachts above 25m.  Held every year at the end of September it attracts numerous shipyards, luxury goods makers, super yacht agents, brokers and yacht charter clients.

The House of FINE YACHTING, as the MYS representatives casually call their fair, is indeed the most spectacular display of super yachts anywhere. Seen as the greatest exhibit of recently launched vessels, it is due to be held between 24th and 27th September 2014 and it promises to be bigger and more exclusive than ever.  Every time we visit Port Hercules outside of these dates, the principality looks relaxed, even empty and in some way unattractive.

Don't understand us wrong, Monaco has always a fair share of super yachts on display even during the coldest wintry days.  Yet during the MYS it does really come alive and the sheer number of super yachts on display makes your heart bounce harder and more frequent than at any time during the year.

As a must-attend event for everyone involved with super yacht industry, from shipyards, designers, yacht charter agents and brokers, equipment manufacturers, water toys providers, luxury good firms as well as yacht buyers and yacht charter clients alike, it always attracts a number of latest super yachts. Earlier this yacht, MYS Managing Director Gaelle Tallarida announced the expansion of the the show which can now welcome a record braking number of yachts.  With up to 115 super yachts (with 40 new models) and up to thirty superyacht tenders due to attend, we expect another find yachting display indeed.  The stunning SOLANDGE, an 85m giga yacht from German Shipyard Luerssen and Heesen's 50 MONACO WOLF, a record braking yacht delivered in 4 months, are expected to be amongst the major stars of the show.

Given that the MYS started off as a super yacht broker show back in 1991, it is amazing to have seen it grow to such spectacular levels nowadays.  Thus, if you have not yet been yet are keen to find out about the super yacht industry in general or are indeed considering chartering  a luxury yacht for your holiday in the future, we invite you to come along and join us for 2014 MYS show.  And don't forget to bring your best shoes as entering to view the most amazing super yachts in the world will require you to take them off before hoping on, so leaving anything other than a designer or high quality shoe nearby is certainly going to be frowned upon and a discount on your new yacht charter deal or a new super yacht order will be limited.
